Hey

Red Steel For wii. I finished the game about a month ago and I am Beginning to write the Review for it right now. In them game Red Steel you play as a character named Scott, former body guard to wife to be. You are about to meet her father when things take a turn to the worst when the restaurant gets raided by a group of armed thugs. You are knock out by one of the thugs. After regaining conscious you take the gun of one of the dead bodyguards. Red Steel offers a variety of weapons to choose from. The controls work great, but sometimes aiming can get frustrating. You can also replay Missions but the gun that you had in that Mission will be used which is kinda lame. Their is also a developed system such as similar to Max Payne bullet time. If you have a Wii I recommend that you get this game it is cheap and fun.

Red Steel - Wii

red steel

it dissapointed me and it was completely different from the ads. i guess they rushed it into production and i know it was a launch title for the wii but they need to make a second one although this time make it better, not make the cut scenes in ugh...comic book form, but actually get proper cinima cut scenes. the sword moves are dissapointing basicly combinations of verticle and horizontal slashes with nothing more than a red slash on the screen, no blood or anything. completely unrealistic and the graphics are that of n64 level. there was one level though that i was fond of it was the wonderland level... the one with all the bunnies. it was the oddest level in any video game i have ever played, but in a good way. there were some power rangers you get to sword fight and men in drag you get to shoot. (btw the men in drag are not a pretty sight mostly grown japanese men with pink hair with pigtails in a tutu) still i give it a 1.25 out of 5 and this is coming from a die hard nintendo fanboy.

Red Steel, a good shooter for wii.

Most reviews I see give Red steel a bad rep, but I found this to be a solid game. Pros: The controls I thought were great, but not perfect. the level design I also found good. The story was ok, but a little more of it would'nt hurt. The gun selection waqs pretty good, and my fav weapons were the Uzi and Scar. The multiplayer was fun and the level I recommned is the Harbor level. Cons: The graphics compared to Legned of Zelda isn't that good, and compared to Call of Duty 4 or Ave combat 4. Their PS1 looking. The enemys can be a lot smarter, and last, the swordfights felt tackled on. All and all red steel in my opinion is a good game and could fill up your FPS needs.

Red Steel - Wii

good shooter not swords

the game is an amazing first person shooter for the wii but the sword fights are crappy and useless, its a good thing its a shooter or else this would of been a bad one for wii

Red Steel - Wii

Sound Steel

While Red Steel has an overall good storyline and not bad gameplay. The controls seem far to sensetive and can take as long as a week for people new to the Wii to get a good grasp on them. The sword fighting had fairly good contols but could sometimes frustrate even the coolest people. The graphics were not bad considering some other wii titles but definatly could have used some work in the multiplayer modes. The sound was the most pleasing part. Although there were some occasional blips and cuts interjecting, the sound was good and I must give full compliments to the Japanese voice acting. Just my 2 cents.-EJ
