The second best FF game for PS1

Final Fantasy IX fixed the big mistake of Final Fantasy VIII. It went back to basics in story which was great. It's not on the same level as Final Fantasy VII, but is better than many of the new Final Fantasy games like FF X-2, XI, and XII. The game play is great, the story is great, the only little problems I had with it was thea the game world wasn't that big and the game was pretty easy, not as easy as FF X or XII, but still easy. I'd rank it 4th best of all the FF games. The ending made up for it being so easy, it was awesome, the story and animated graphics. I even loved the end song. I'm trying to think of something else, but I haven't played this game in a long time so please forgive me. Let me just say that it's a great game and a unappreciated FF game.
