Game Description
Grand Theft Auto for the PlayStation by Take 2 Interactive uses a top-down view, where the player is cast as a wannabe hood and must grease his way up the greasy pole of the underworld by performing criminal acts for the local kingpins. You undertake a series of daring crimes, ranging from stealing cars, acting as a getaway driver, and delivering stolen goods. However, the police are permanently on the look out for such criminals, and as the game progresses, the missions grow more daring.

In Grand Theft Auto, you're a goon on the lam, pulling jobs such as bombing or drug runs as you avoid the police either on foot or by hijacking any car in sight. GTA's violent nature, complete with abundant cursing, is sociopathically chic... but the game's just not any fun.
