MLB 08 The Show by Sony is a baseball game that introduces a Road to The Show mode -- the option to play both offense and defense from a custom-created player?s perspective; a more robust dynamic goal system; and a new career advancement system that determines when a player is eligible for a promotion. The Show also features more than 3000 individual player animations, including personalized stances; pitching animations; individual swings; batting rituals; and motion captures from MLB players. Other features include Progressive Batting Performance; customizable Online League Play with up to 30 teams; scrolling MLB Score Ticker; and SCOUT (SportsConnect Online User Tracking).
