Ninja's, Gold, and great gameplay...what more can you want?

This game is what would have been if Mario was a ninja instead of a plumber.... Continue reading while I think of an introduction.
Story- Your a ninja, collecting gold, before the timer runs out. This has the makings of a great story...not. Though it lets me get through the game, there is no story to speak of. But then again, the story isn't the focus...but its not that hard to come up with something for a story. Let your imagination do the work for once.
Gameplay- Now this is where the game is strong. Very strong, actually. The controls are spot on, and they can become very intense during the harder levels as you try to make leaps of gargantuan proportions. Wall sliding and jumping is rather fun, and adds a nice element to this section. You have no abilities besides jumping makes the game a little repetitive, but that can be ignored. And besides, there are barely any enemies in the game to use the wanted different abilities against. There are more as you move along, but they aren't anything complicated.
Audio/Visual- Music is boring and in a constant loop. A recommendation is to get your tunes to jam to, since it would be preferable compared to this track. Visuals are spot on, but can be a great eyestrain for those with less than accurate vision. Sometimes you won't be able to spot an mine or some gold in the sprawling levels. If anything, pick up a pair of glasses before playing.
In conclusion- A strong game with a few flaws (one of which is quite major), its a sure purchase for anyone who loves platformers. The gameplay is very fun and addicting, and makes a great use of the console it happens to be on. Just prepare for constant squinting and wondering what those little tiny specks on the screen may be. And those who like great stories in their games, prepare to be disappointed. But if you look past that, there is an addicting game to be had.

First of all, you know N is a free web-based game, right? Ok, you probably liked it pretty well, then, huh, if you're willing to pay for N+. It's a likable game! Who doesn't want to procrastinate by wall jumping around as a spritely little ninja, getting blown to smithereens by obnoxious robots, or falling to your doom in a hip 'n fresh old school, styled arena platformer?
