Small people in small places

There is nothing bad in this game from my point. They basically looks like stick figure's with an eye in the middle (only smaller) And they are very small (especially to the bosses) But usually bosses are big in some games. If your willing to spend about 20 bucks on this (if you have a psp) then it is worth it. Once you play this fantastic game then once you start, you can never get the drum beats out of your head. Trust me i have tried but i failed but if you cant then you are no patapon or rhythm game fan in my book! Buy it,Live it, Love it, Kill it off (not really), Finally own it and Live it (again?!?)

If you don't have Patapon...

If you don't have patapon, or even a PSP, go to the store and get one and spend 20$ on patapon!!!!! If you aren't willing to spend about 225$, go crawl into a dark corner, and sit there for an hour.

Pon-pon-PATA-pon

The only thing more addicting than this game is prescription drugs, so that's saying something. Patapon is a rhythm, action, real time strategy game with side scrolling and RPG elements. The game has a simplistic art similar to that of Loco Roco (mostly because the same developers made the two games) and has a cute with a humorous tone. You lead an army of Patapons, and have the ability to equip them with items, and gear, and can fuse items to form other Patapons. You control the Patapon by pressing the square, Circle, Triangle, and X buttons in a rhythmic fashion, along with the music and chatter of the Patapon. Now the sound of the game is very catchy, and you can find that you may be tapping your foot inadvertently with the melody. In fact, I recommend doing so to stay in rhythm. As per RPGs, you'll have some grinding to do to gain enough materials to get a more reinforced army to beat the bosses. There are some very strategic concepts in the game, which is very impressive due to the fact that the game comes off as pretty simple. I mean, the direction of the wind has an effect on how far your arrows go, and when it rains, certain animals can smell you coming, and so they flee. These little additions make the game really fun, but hard at the same time. There's lots to collect, and hours of gameplay to have. And you'll be singing 'Pata-pata-pata-pon' from now till doomsday.

Cute and fun

The perfect PSP game, though you'll probably get sick of it long before you finish the single-player game. The music and visuals are adorable, and both kids and adults will love it. It's fun upgrading your soldiers with new weapons and armor, but the single-player experience gets very difficult about halfway through the game. Still worth experiencing.
