  • Tony Hawk's Project 8

Though the Tony Hawk franchise is getting a little long in the tooth--eight titles in eight years will exhaust even the most die-hard video game skater--Project 8 was a good addition to the franchise, thanks to its great graphics, the impressive Nail The Trick mode and the sheer vastness of its levels.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, let me say that the PS3 version of Tony Hawk's Project 8 is--you guessed it--exactly the same as the Xbox 360 version.

When it comes to the Tony Hawk franchise, it was love at first ollie for many of us. Since then, the series has gone through a couple of ups and downs and it had seemingly gotten stuck in a rut, as the games began to feel formulaic and tired.

Tony Hawk's Project 8 - PSP

good game

i was looking for a new game and when i saw this i was a little worried b/c wasteland was horrible but i decided to try it. i love it!!! this game is so much fun. i really like how they put in the classic goals as challenges to do. the one thing i dont get is how to make it to #1 i am like 98% in every level but yet am still number 2. but i would say its fun. but let me just say this i play it on psp but and it doesnt have the helicopter at the city center and it doesnt have the roller coaster car in it but when i play my friends on ps2 he has that stuff and i dont know if its my copy or what but i cant get 100% in the city center without the helicopter.that pissed me off but still great game!

Best skating game yet!

INTRO:Tony Hawk started his video game series a god while ago while not all titles were good the serie is known by Billions of gamers and still sels,After many titles such as THPS1-THPS4,THU,THU2,THAW,THPS2R they come out with project 8,is it good or bad?Read on for my review of Tony Hawk`s Project 8. STORYLINE:Tony Hawk makes a skating team with the 8 best skaters and its up to you to rank as one of them.Interresting storyline and different for a change and you really have an objective. REVIEW:Project 8 takes what was best with the serie and improved it and added a great storyline and a few new features. The game is very attractive with nice graphics, great gameplay and many things to do but what is new is that you can do an objective by reaching 3 levels;am,pro and sick wich makes the game fun for a novice player and fun for an experienced player. After a few so-so titles the series is once again back on track and exclusivly for the PSP you have a few classsic levels and as well as 14 multiplayer games to add to the fun.The PSP`s version is great unlike maybe some others that arent as good like PS2 and XBOX,but isn`t better than XBOX 360 and PS3 but its great. The new and great thing is the nail-the-trick mode wher it goes slow and you have to perform, just great. RATINGS GRAPHICS: 4.5/5 CONTROLS: 4.5/5 REPLAYABILITY:4/5 OVERRAL: 4.25/5 HIGLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE PSP tons of fun!
