What's more fun than a barrel full of monkeys? How about a pocket full of 'em! Ape Escape tells the colorful tale of a primate named Specter who manages to get his opposable thumbs on the Professor's Peak Point Helmet, an intellect-boosting chapeau that turns the normally friendly monkey into an angry ape with plans for world domination. Specter frees his fellow monkeys and uses the Professor's trusty time machine to go back in time and wreak havoc on history. That's where you, a young kid named Spike, come in: In order to prevent Abe Lincoln from becoming Ape Lincoln, you have to travel back into the past and capture all 200 primates before they have a chance to make a monkey out of human history. Ape Escape's eight worlds, 20 levels, and banana-bunch of multiplayer wireless mini-games mean it's frantic, goofy fun for the whole family.
