NHL 10 by EA Sports for PS3 is the 19th hockey title in the franchise, and it features a new first-person fighting engine that enables players to battle an NHL tough guy by dodging and throwing punches, grabbing and tugging an opponent?s jersey that ignites the fans and sparks your team to victory. Challenge a skill player and an opposing team tough guy steps in to settle the score. NHL 10 features more than 200 gameplay refinements, players can one-time loose pucks, score from their knees, knock pucks out of the air, and lift a leg to fake a shot on goal.

This Game Is GARBAGE!!!

CAUTION: This game is literally FULL of bugs in the programming/coding. Go over to the EA Sports NHL forum and check out the hundreds (thousands?) of complaints about freezing, corrupt save files, issues with boosts and add-ons, and just about everything else.

Until they release a patch that fixes all these problems, STAY AWAY from NHL 10!!! And those of us who have bought other EA games in the past know they do not release patches with any sense of urgency...

I've bought every EA NHL title since NHL Hockey on Sega Genesis, but my loyalty ends with this gigantic s### sandwich EA has served up to its customers.

Sorry EA, but when you release a product so full of coding/programming errors that it makes most modes of gameplay unplayable, that tells us gamers you care more about advertising and hype than any beta testing.

Hate to give two stars but good reason for it

EA doesn't look to have Beta Tested this game before releasing it. Has some major freeze issues in GM mode. Others who own this game are reporting massive freeze issues in the game in other areas (Be a Pro mode seems to infected with this bug also).

When it works it's a lot of fun but the Freeze issue makes the game unplayable. Basicly, if you paid $59.99 for this game you paid to Beta Test it. The Glitches that arrise makes the game unplayable.

Wait for the patch before buying. EA is reporting it's going to take a few weeks. Personally, I'm really dissapointed. I give it two stars.
