Game Description
Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes by LucasArts for PS3 allows players to fight as both Jedi Knights and clone troopers through over 30 missions, all created from shared visual assets from the TV series. Featuring a brand-new storyline, players can play the key events that lead directly into the second season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Jedi characters can slice and dice their way through countless enemies, commandeer droids, and show off their combat prowess on foot and in a variety of vehicles. Clone troopers have a heavy weapons armament that includes rocket launchers, thermal detonators, and jet packs in levels built specifically for the run-n-gun gameplay.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes
After putting out those awful prequel movies, Lucas is finally back to form with some fantastic Star Wars related material. Its current cash cow is the highly underrated Clone Wars animated series, a cleverly written and directed show that caters to a younger audience but has enough for adults as well. That's why it's such a shame that the video game spin-off, Republic Heroes, doesn't live up to the high bar set by the terrific show.
