Game Description

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is an epic action-adventure featuring a true-to-character Wolverine gameplay experience that takes gamers through and beyond the movie's storyline. Set in a variety of vivid real-world locales, the title challenges players to hone their animal instinct as they uncover hidden dangers, hunt and destroy enemies, and take on seemingly insurmountable situations while discovering the truth about Wolverine's tragic past. With razor-sharp adamantium claws unsheathed, the future X-Man enacts lightning-quick combat, evasive maneuvers, in-depth combo attacks, and an array of brutal finishing moves. Wolverine doesn't just deliver massive damage, either--he also takes it, thanks to his mutant regenerative power that heals him in real time right before the player's eyes.

Great Game, Didn't Need 2 Years

*Spoiler alert, but it is the same as the movie plot*Do you like games where all you do is beat people up? Get this! Need more in a game? Be cautious. Its a great game. Fighting is smooth, fun, and isn't repetitive. The only problem is between the combat. There are some really annoying puzzles and platforming sections that seem arbitrary, and are just there some it isn't combat (which being wolverine, it should be). There are some great boss fights, like sabertooth and the Blob. Yet, it ends terribly, with an extremely easy fight with Sabertooth, then going to an annoyingly glitchy fight with Deadpool. So it ends badly, but the rest is good. I liked the movie, so I liked the story plot. It is even better than the movie, though, because the fights with Blob, Gambit, and Sentinel are much better than the movie (Sentinel wasn't even in the movie). Yet, this is a game in development for about 2 years. There are 15 hours of gameplay, synonymous with not enough. Plus, the camera can get annoying in large groups and platforming. My biggest complaint: Wolverine on Wolverine action. They have some challenges that are really fun. It could be awesome if it had multiplayer. They could have thought of some stuff, like predator/prey where one wolverine has to kill the other, and the other has to kill things in its way to get to the safe zone. There could be some great possibilities, but it wasn't used. Could be better, but considering its a movie game, its awesome. Its basically a watered down god of war, which still is awesome. I say get it if your a fan, enjoyed the movie, or just really like God of War-like games.
