Blitz: The League II, sequel to Blitz: The League (formerly NFL Blitz), for PS3 by Midway continues the franchise's legacy as an alternative to the watered-down, licensed competition. In addition to an all-new story mode penned by Peter Egan (ESPN's Playmakers), BTLII features include: Precision-Aim Tackles, player-controlled touchdown celebrations, an enhanced on-the-field Clash Mode, online multiplayer capabilities, expanded rosters with all-new personalities, and the return of a cornerstone of the Blitz franchise: late hits. Football legend Lawrence Taylor returns as the game's cover-athlete and star linebacker for the New York Nightmare, Quentin Sands, along with a star-studded supporting cast.

Blitz: The League II - PS3

Pros Cons
Amazing visuals Doesn't live up to expectations
Just plain fun Repetitive gameplay
Not A Classic, but still good!

I loved the old Blitz games on the Nintendo 64, so i thought this game would be great, it was alright but i wanted more. The new game disappointed me because i was expecting most of the elements to be the same. Well it is still over the top action and unreal plays and players. If you are a Football sim/Madden fan you might be disappointed, if you just want to grip it and rip it, pick this game up and try it!
