Summary

Game Description

Midnight Club again proves it's ahead of the pack with open-world racing, this time taking hi-speed racing to the streets of L.A. with Midnight Club: Los Angeles on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Midnight Club: L.A. uses the same RAGE technology as Grand Theft Auto IV. The goal of the designers was to strip out as much of the menu and interface as possible, keeping the player racing and driving at almost every second.

  • Oct. 28, 2008 Review: Review: Midnight Club: Los Angeles (360)

As promised, Rockstar San Diego achieves a great balance of challenge, customizing, and arcade-style racing fun in the fourth installation in the prestigious Midnight Club series. While it doesn't have the overwhelming amount of cars, courses, and technical tuning of other racers, Midnight Club: Los Angeles sells itself on style and flair alone.

THE BOTTOM LINE: If you're up for a challenging arcade-style racer that's light on tuning and heavy on adrenaline-pumping action, Midnight Club: Los Angeles won't disappoint.
