worst madden game ever, it just goes to show that without any true competition video game makers get really lax, thank the good lord 2k football can finally use the nflpa licence again, maybe that will force ea to up its game, no pun intended

EA CAN REALLY DISSAPOINT
This pains me to say it but madden 08 is very average at best. yes, it's better than 07 but since I would rate 07 a 2 that's not saying much. I can't play a single game without slow down and at least 5 fumbles. I'm on defense and my own player knocks the running back forward for 3 yards when he tackles. I think thats due to the new "gang tackle" that was placed this year. That would be nice if the tackle knocked them back or kept them in place but forward for 3 extra yards? come on. And yes, I would have loved to see it at 60 FPS but I would have been happy if it played fine but I have to waste my challenges on my fumbles in hopes some of them can be turned around. I do like the new in-game icons and the ring builder. Well I guess since EA holds the NFL license I have no choice but to wait until next year and see if they can take there head of out of there, oh never mind, you get the point.
