Running Man and Fortress
Multiplayer killing fests. The Club is a gem to play. Different characters gives many options for replayability. Lots of play modes, weapons and combo systems. Tournaments are hectic and the tiny explosives implanted in you go off after stepping out of bounds. If you like online get The Club.

The most ingenious arcade shooter yet
If some call The Club "just another arcade shooter" then they couldnt be mosre wrong. This is quite possibley the best "arcade" shooter yet. Even though i do not like to use the tag, arcade on this game as it really does not do it any justice. The Club is a third-person shooter version of a racing game really because, during the game, you will spend your time running and gunning your way to the end of the arena. The story is short but, surprisingly, quite good. Corupt businessmen and sick rich lads pay money to buy run down warehouses, abandoned buildings, prisons, etc. and get people to fight to the death in the said palces. The gladiators that are fighting are not fighting out of free will but they are forced to. If they make it to the end they will be let free and given a new life. During the game you can play one of eight characters, all having different strengths and disadvantages, and all having come from a different backround. There are two characters you cna not play form the start and that must be unlocked, they are Nemo (a physcopath who has lost the majority of his mide) and Killen (one of the only men to have ever survived the club and is now back, forced to do it again). Personally i feel that there are three well rounded characters you can play as from the start. They are Finn, Kenrick and Segar. The rest have fairly ovbious disadvantages but also have ovbious advantages. Once unlocked, Killen is proberly the best character in teh game. Nemo is okay, better then a few, not as good as a few, you get the picture. So in closing The Club is a really fund and enjoyable game with alot of replay value as you will unlock Killen and Nemo after completing it the first time and you can always go do it again with another character. It is an ingenious take on the shooter series and is a great game, one that, in my opinion, has'nt been seen before. Craig Donovan
