Conan - PS3

Battle Ready

Battles are ongoing, narrative is good. This game requires stradegy, enemies can't be taken on by button mashing. Lots of combos to unlock and LOTS of dismemberments. Boss battles can be nerve cringing. Cheesy bonus naked women tied to trees and walls but what they say is entertaining. Devil May Cry fans will enjoy.

Nothing but haggar...

I thought this game would be more than it was. It was just another hack-n-slash with not much depth. The graphics were not even that great. The combo/cut scene maneuvers were the saving grace, if there was any. I was disappointed to say the least, it was more like the Conan comics slightly, but still not enough....

Rent only

Last week I rented this game and I'm so glad I didn't waste my money and buy it. The graphics aren't that great and the controls are a little sloppy. That shouldn't matter because all you have to do is smash your attack buttons in combinations to pull of attacks. The cut scenes look horrible for Next-Generation standards and the voice overs seem a little off. This is a rent only if there is nothing else there to play.
