A really good racer for those who love sims. Really hard to advance past the second license good thing there only 3. a little slow for my taste but i can see why people really love this franchise. IF your new to gaming or racing games you may and just want to add a racer to your collection you might want to check out motor storm or grid for you racing fix.
Best racer out, until the full version that is...

This game is absolute eye candy, the cars look identical to their real world counterparts. The controls are perfect, the cockpit view is great, I did not see any in game car damage, but maybe that is just in the full version. If you want a true to life racer this is the game to get, especially if you have a 1080p/24p HDTV.

ive been waiting to get a good gran turismo game ever since 4(which i thought was very good), and that is what i got with my 40 bucks for this. i just finished some really hard raced in A class, and i cant wait to start custom tuning my cars. the graphics are amazing on this game, even on a regular tube television. the game sounds great on surround sound. i do hope that they'll put the actually car tuning into the actual GT5, cause i always enjoyed doing that. the other thing that was a little unliked was the jerkiness of the controls, since if you tapped the analog stick it would jerk you over. i also had to set the oversteer correcting thing to mild, since if i put the analog stick all the way to the right or the left, it would usually spin me out. other than that, its an amazing game
The best racing simulator ever

When Gran Turismo debuted in the Playstation,it was one of the most innovating games in time.Later when the Playstation 2 born,Gran Turismo 3 was one of the most realistic videogames ever.Years later,Gran Turismo 4 came and leave empty the shelves of the stores. Now,with the Playstation 3,Gran Turismo 5 brings a realistic experience for gamers. The cars and enviorements look better than ever, but that's nothing compared to the new interior dash view.It looks so real, that will make you feel that you are really driving the car.Second, online play is avaliable for up to 16 players. Is really entertaining and intense,so after you stop burning rubber, watch the cool replay and enjoy. The replay feature is really cool, just race and call a bunch of people to see youre masterpiece,I guarantee that you will hear a lot of hurrays there. So,I have to say that Gran Turismo 5 is one of the games that your Playstation 3 library must have.

Just for the record this game is not a demo. it has over 70 cars (more than the last Need for Speed), and 10 different tracks (Motorstorm had 7 and was "best off-road game ever"). This game is a full scale introduction to the full Gran Turismo 5 that comes out in more than a year. Gran Turismo has captured perfectly what a simulation game should be. The graphics will leave you staring at the screen, mouth open, and beautiful tracks. Each car feels and performs uniquely, and also looks brilliant. The new "drivers point of view" view.... is fantastic. The interior of each car is absolutely amazing, and adds a new level of realism never before "felt." The games gameplay is amazing. It has around 60 events total that you can participate in. The AI drivers actualy look more human than the previous games. They make mistakes, and (unlike GT4) notice that you are there. The online gameplay is good, not great. It is very simple but, simpilcity makes things better. Online, all the money you earn goes straight to campaign, which is great. Races are catagorized by power, so you cant have a Mini Cooper racing a Ferrari F40. Overall this game is absolutely phenomenal. Polyphony Digital made (as usual) a fantastic game. Also, bringing Ferrari into game is a huge plus! Love Ferrari......
