Tony Hawks Project 8

I am usually a big fan of tony hawks games and i have played 5 of them, and out of all of them, this one is byfar the worst. i just started playing it yesterday and i already hate it. they only give you a small range of characters to choose from, an personally, i dont like any of them. i loved the whole custom skater things in the previous underground games and the new proving ground game, and this one didnt give me that choice. i also didnt like the game play of it, the skateboarder looks and stands ocward on the skateboard. i dont know. but i just dont like it. so instead of continuing to play this unsatifying game, i went out and bought tony hawks proving ground. now there's a good skateboarding game! full customization right down to the wheels, not to mention my very own skate lounge. and full sponsors who gradually give you checks with more money each time. i just got a check of 250,000. => if only it was real. the only downfall of the game is the difficulty of the challenges. i always seem to get am or pro, but hardly ever sick. that however, isnt such a bad thing since i beat the other games too quickly, and this gives me a challenge. so there you have it. if you want to get a tony hawks game, go for Proving Ground. or try the similar game called Skate which i have yet to try. have fun!

Project 8

Tony Hawks Project 8 is a great game if you were into the old THPS games. This game brings back your favorite way to skate. Theres not much of a story line other than your trying to get into Tonys Project 8 skate team. In this game there is no game difficulty to start with, you go through the game and beat the objective or goal on whatever difficulty you want. Every mission gives you a choice on how hard you want it to be. Now if you are a THUG fan more and like story lines while skating then you wont be as interested in this game than others, all though you if you like the mini skate videos this game has plenty to offer. Even when the screen is loading it still gives a clip or two to watch. All in all this game is a game worth picking up!

Blast from the past...again

Tony Hawk games are always fun to play around with for a while but really leave you wanting more. Project 8 is no different and has little replay value. Once the skating style has been mastered, all Tony Hawk games can be completed with ease because there is never really anything new that changes the way you play the game. It's pretty, but no online and the smae old game play kill it in the end.

Do you think this game is worth your $$$???

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK! Know your role, and buy the game! Graphics are gettin' better and better... I just wish there were more games like this one!

If watching Jason Lee croon on stage in Almost Famous makes you want to vomit on the TV, stick in Project 8, unlock him, and make him face-plant the concrete off an 80 foot half pipe. Ahh, sweet revenge.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, let me say that the PS3 version of Tony Hawk's Project 8 is--you guessed it--exactly the same as the Xbox 360 version.
