The Darkness.. The Greatness

Whilst not being overly keen on FPS type games as they tend to be for people with an IQ of 90 or less,The Darkness was one of the games that came when i bought my PS3 system back in 2007. I hadheard of the comic books of the same name and was intrigued about the story more than anything else. It blew me away, it seriously was one of the best games on the PS3 at the time (until of courseMGS4 came out). Sure the AI is a bit lacking, but most games AI tend to be poor. I still play this game even to this day, i love it. :)

How stupid.

I'll be honest. This game was so frustrating and the controls were so awkward. The concept was so abstract, which is good, but not when it's presented so poorly. Your character should have a huge ? above their head, you don't know what your doing, you just have to get lucky, or explore everything. The graphics are ok I guess. I was on the last boss and the game froze during a load after dying, and erased the game, anyone want to buy it off me?

The Darkness - PS3

Oh my..

This is one of the best ps3 games i've played so far. In "The Darkness" you play as an italian mobster named Jackie who is a hit-man for the franchetti crime family, oh did i mention, he also has the power to have a giant demon arm come out of his gut, make a creepy darkness snake crawl around on the floor, walls, ceiling, etc. And the power to tear a hole in reality and make a black hole! Not to mention that he can weild a variety of weapons, summon darklings, and knows how to hold a vendetta against his uncle, who by-the-way tried to violenty PWN3 him via explosion.

i liked this game because it follows a comic book series and it had a good storyline and it was pretty fun like hidden items thing the phone messages are funny.

The Darkness - PS3

not as great

whats up guys im back with another review so here you go. i thought this game would be great but it just barely makes a 3 well atleast on the ps3. the graphics are good but the controls are terrible or maybe it's just the ps3 controler i dont know. there is just to much to do with the darkness monsters and it can leave you confused. it's ok but not great that's it that all
