Tekken 6

a bit dissapointed

I have bought Tekken6 after playing Tekken5:DR.
I have to say its not what i expected. I'm back on Tekken5 again.
The campaign is boring and doesnt fit in this genre. The game is very much the same as T5, I can't say WOW! After playing T6 for a few hours it was a relieve to go back on T5. It's definitely not worth the money (€ 55).

Character customizations are rediculious expensive! It takes days of winning to just get a simple chest piece. After all i think the character in T5 looks better then T6. I love to play Raven but he looks very flickering in T6, not nice to see. Other chararcter have some bad visuals too.
The HD animations look great, thats the only pro for me.
I play PS3 on a 50" HD plasma tv

Think before you go buy this game. I do regret buying it.

DEEP!

I LOVE the new animations they added to past moves. If you thought the 100+ moves some characters had were a little similar they did a LOT to solve it. I play a lot of Marshall Law and Lei Wu Long and they didn't disappoint in adding new moves that greatly improve strategies. Always thought there wasn't a smooth transition from crouching with Lei? There are plenty of new ways of getting up and hurting the opponent. I don't want to reveal much but for the hardcore fighters this game is the PERFECT 3D fighter! (Okay.. not perfect.. but the BEST so far imo!) They made the characters move smoother in three dimensions making them feel less limited on the ring. It's such a treat to see a slow motion replay of a new animation to understand how the character executes an old move in a new There was a lot of thought put in this game and I lurv it. :D

Why am I not overwhelmed!

Tekken 6, is for those who missed the PS2 titles of the Franchised. However, if you have played Tekken 5 or Tekken 5 DR and if you wanted something different well I am terribly sorry because there is nothing different form Tekken 5 to Tekken 6. Yeah, if your looking forward to the new characters go ahead a pay your 63.58 on the game. Personally, I feel that I was robbed. Yes, I will give Namco Bandi praise for the graphics but that is as far as that goes. Scenario Campaign mode does not fit this game. It feels like a bad 3d imitation of Fighting Force. The character customization is just like Tekken 5 TOO LIMITED!! Soul Calibur 4 gave me much more freedom with their Character Creation mode. I am sick of the Customization system. It is no fun and very lame. You can only customize current characters and the items are way too expensive. At least in SC4 Character Creation mode the items where cheap and simple to change color of hair or a piece of clothing.Tekken 6 you can't change the color of the hair or skin and you are stuck with whoever is in the game. For example you can't shave Bruce Ivan mustache nor can you made Marshall Law young. I was wondering why there was no demo before the released. They where hiding the same game. What really makes me mad is that the original Tekken 6 was done in 2007. Namco Bandi made me wait until 2009 FOR NOTHING!!! I personally feel if Namco Bandi just did character creation I would have gave this game a perfect rating.The game is very repetitive and after hours of playing you will find yourself bored out if your mind. Tekken 6 is not the best but it is better that other titles. Oh I almost forgot you must endure the Scenario Campaign mode just to understand what is going on in the story. You will quickly lose interest after you lose a ton of times. Namco Bandi, next time LISTEN TO THE FANS OF THE FRANCHISE!!!!!AHAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now after letting all that anger out I will look forward to bigger and better games!! Will there be better games that this YES!!! IT TAKES MORE THAT GRAPHICS TO MAKE A GAME PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Final note, I already had the game one day before it came out..

Tekken 6

The perennial fighting franchise from Namco is slated to make an appearance on the PS3. Expect all new fighters, moves, and plenty of spiffy graphics.
