Summary

Game Description

MotorStorm Arctic Edge by Sony is a racing game that takes place in the unpredictable Alaskan terrain, where players race through multi-route tracks, harsh terrain, and sub-zero conditions to try and become festival champ. Players throw traditional offroad driving and caution to the wind where the ultimate goal in the festival is to not only win, but survive. Take on a variety of brutal A.I. racers and negotiate the dangerous arctic conditions, including sudden avalanches, broken ice bridges, and three different racing altitudes.

Like all the other motorstorm games, you get loads of content, and plenty of action. If you took the original motorstorm, toned down the graphics quite a bit, and put it in the arctic it would look exactly like Motorstorm arctic edge. The only thing that could not be carried over were the graphics. Otherwise it is an excellent game. A few new take downs include, avalanches. Blaring your horn at a good spot will cause an avalanche which will crush all behind you. (Just make sure you aren't caught in it either!). Two new vehicles classes are snow machines, and snow cats. And best of all, the ragdoll physics are still there. Their are plenty of festival events so you will spend some time on that before you move into the online portion. The only issue with the online is occasionally unlucky people will have the game not like their playstation network
account and you will have to make a new one. Their were otherwise no other issues. A few minor graphical glitches are present but are rarely noticeable.
If you loved the other Motorstorms this is a must buy. Its also a must buy for those who love in-your-face racing combat games.
