Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary - PS2

A Great Journey Back

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a great tribute to the first game that started it all. If you are a fan of Tomb Raider you may get teary eyed as you come across familiar areas and characters. The controls are from the Tomb Raider Legend engine which blend in well with the the first game's platforming action. This game comes at a nice time to hold fans over as we make that transition from last gen to next gen.

Im lovin the new Tomb Raider redesign!

My first thoughts on the new Tomb Raider whole redesign of the Ps1 classic, I was like could they pull it off? Well thet me tell ya they did with I tremendous WOW!! I bought the game a couple days after it came out, And I loved it. The whole revamped Lara, plus the level design was breathtakingly spectacular, Ive been a huge Tomb Raider fan ever since they opened the door to the 96 classic. From there on I was like bait on a hook. In Tomb Raider Anniversary you took the control of Lara once again, In search for the Scion. The games intro was like the intro to the first one but revamped and nicer looking. Im a huge Platformer/Action adventure kid, (as you would know by my many game reviews), So this was a perfect fit for me. I just like the game because it brought a lot of stuff from the first one like Bears, Lions, rats, etc. And it was fairly easy to find things and figure what had to go where. But the levels were absolutely spectacular, each time I would go somewhere I would stop for a minute and just look around me. And on that note, I would HIGHLY recommend that each and every fan of Tomb Raider, or even just starting out, GO BUY TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY NOW!!!!

great game

tomb raideranniversary is a great game the good - 1 graphics are superb with detailed enviorement and lara looks awesome. 2 this game uses engine of legend which superb.plus lara have some more abilities like wall run, balancing on top of poles,etc 3 story is also nice. 4 great sound. 5 gunplay is also improved and the adrenaline dodge works well. 6 game takes you to nice locations like peru,greece, egypt,etc. 7 nice unlockable content like new costumes,bios as in legend. the bad 1 heavy lack of cutscenes make the game boring and uninteresting(one occurs after three levals) 2 camera sometimes get frustrating. rest the game is good and is enough to get tomb raider franchise back on track

A Great taste of the original

When TR legend came out, i was finally releaved for a decent lara croft game. This game has legend controls and the levels that the original had. I like how they changed up things a little, like the T-rex in lost valley became the level boss. Overall, its a good edition
