Dawn of Mana - PS2

My Review

Dawn of Mana is a good game although it lacks the orginality of the classic level up rpg-system. Although you level up in the game, every time you finish a chapter your level gets reset to 1 until you get mid way in the game then you always get reset to 2. Either way its frustrating for anyone to play that has such high hopes for Square Enix. Although it lacks a number of things Square Enix made up for it with its stunning CG graphics. However, their aren't that many CG cutscenes its still a good game. This game really test you to see if you have any skills although the enemies are relatively easy you have to know what you are doing. I gave this game such a high score cause it really suprised me at the end and i can't wait for the sequel

Damn it, Square-Enix, what were you thinking when you designed Dawn of Mana? Yes, you got a lot of things right. The visuals? Awesome. The in-game audio? Spectacular. But then you absolutely blow it with one critical design mistake: you reset all of my stats in between each chapter!
