Justice League Heroes
The PSP version of Justice League: Heroes is an excellent handheld version of the game that leapt onto the home consoles earlier this year, save for one glaring omission: A lack of wireless multiplayer.

Justice League Heroes
Although the superheroes from the DC universe have starred in their fair share of video games, none of them have fared particularly well. In fact, some of their digital exploits have gone down in video game history as some of the worst games ever made. Take Superman for the Nintendo 64 and Aquaman for the PS2. Shazam, were those bad.

Hey! Is this X-Men Legends on crack or something?
O Boy. Everyone knew this would happen. Marvel comes out with a majorly successful game franchise, X-MEN LEGENDS, and DC has to do the same. Well, nice try DC, but no cookie. Justice League Heroes is the first try for DC to get there Justice League out of the comics and into the spotlight. I mean, think about it. We have Batman with his new movies and the really cool game that followed it. We have the same for Superman (except for the game part). We have all of these superheros getting their own games and movies, but they never join together! We have to give credit to DC for jumping out on a limb and trying to do this (yes, they were developing this before Marvel: Ultimate Alliance). Anyway, the game is at best, average. I mean, it is a good game, but it just feels like a mock-up Legends. The game has a super powers, and interchangeable heroes, like Legends. It has more that 1 hero at a time, like Legends. Oh, but here is the differences. The game is way tooooooo easy. I beat it in 1 day. The gameplay mechanics are too simple, and the character designs are way too...well...there really...well, they're kinda weird. Anyway, if you want your dose of Legends, but feel like bashing heads with Batman, this is your game. The story is good, and the CG scenes are what gives this game its pizazz. Try it. You might like it. And remember: DC women are hotter than Marvel's.

Good but not great
While I am excited that this game even exists, it could have been a lot better pretty easily. My chief complaint is that for a super-hero team game, you can never have more than two JLA members at a time. What's that about? Why not 4 like X-Men Legends? Secondly is there is not enough opportinity to level up, especially the unlockable characters. And while you can smash up a lot of stuff in the environment and use it for weapons, there is never anything hidden. For instance, there are tons of boxes, crates, and objects that could have housed power-ups, boosts, shields, or any number of cool things but they have nothing. Still, it's pretty fun and worth playing through. I hope the next one improves these things.
