MLB '06 The Show - PS2

Good times with Bats

Ah there is nothing better than going to the ballpark with pops. This is a fun game to play with your pops. Overall this is a great game with a few glitches. But the good outweighs the bad.But let's touch on the bad. When a line drive is hit towards and falls sometimes it goes right past you instead of the outfielder scooping up the ball and this is screwed me many a times. There is a variety of game modes which keep the game fresh. Such as Career mode which you take your slugger or pitcher and make a good career. Then there is franchise mode where you can manage your own team as well as buying and upgrading your park. And season is pretty much a watered down version of franchise.Home run derby is in there as well. The players look distinct and personalized batting stances (but Sheffield's swinging stance distracts me). overall 4/5

Boring baseball

The graphics are decent but the announcing, and excitement are lacking. The Hall of Fame mode was a good touch but the game falls short of excitement.
