Summary
Game Description
SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs captures the reality of modern day warfare and builds on previous SOCOM titles. It features three Areas of Operation: Southern Asia, Northern Africa and Eastern Europe and is packed with over 10 missions. In the single-player game, each mission area is six times larger than they were in SOCOM 2. Multiple save points eliminate having to replay a failed mission from the beginning. In SOCOM 3 land and water vehicles also play a central role. Vehicles can be commandeered by both players and A.I. and cover a range of military and civilian vehicles including turret-equipped pickups, a SEAL team military Humvee, and SOC-R Assault Boats. Weapon customization also allows players to use more than 30 different weapons and attachments which, when combined, offer nearly a thousand possible customized combat executions.

Must Have for Online Players
This game shines in the multiplayer department. Up to 32 players can go at it in various gametypes ranked and unranked. There are clans and vehicular combat. It doesnt get better than this.

SOWHAT?
Or should I say Socrappy. Zipper is getting very lazy and just cranking these things out. The graphics are bland and look like a PS1 game. Compare it to Killzone and you'll see what I mean. Game play hasn't improved much, sure you can drive now but big deal. Character detail is still poor and enemy AI is sloppy at best. An over the shoulder view would be a great help like they did with Ghost Recon 2. Navagating the menu screens is also a chore. Lets hope the PS3 verion is better.

Coolest friggin game there is
This is the best military based game out there. There are literally hundreds of different weapon combinations and your team is actually of some use. The developers issued new commands for your team as well. This game also offers thing others don't: Action, feeling of being there, and a challenge. There is 12[it doesn't seem like a lot but see how long it takes you to beat each one] missions and another two cool added features for campaign is that there are checkpoints you can save at after completing certain objectives. You can save at these points. The other new campaign feature is that you and any still alive teammates regain a good amount of health. For all of the online gamers there is also an added feature. In SOCOM 2 you could only have 16 players in a game at once. That means 8 players for each team. But now there can be 16 players on each team. That means 32 players in a room at once. That's twice the action. This game does have one flaw though that I really wish the developers would add. I was hoping for co- operative campaign and multiplayer offline. But everything else in this fantastic game more than makes up for that mistake. Buy this game, or at least ren it for a week.
