Was tons of fun at the time..

So, a little late writing a review for this game, but I just recently created my Gamepro account, and wanted to contribute to the site as best I could. So, this game was great fun at the time, and kept me occupied for hours on end. I liked the fact that you could choose your path (face vs heel)in story mode. I thought the graphics were great at the time, but missed some of the wrestlers actual theme music. Online was fun (I'd get my butt handed to me on a regular basis though), but I'd never play too much with the online mode due to lag. Good game, was worth a try for sure if you're a wrestling fan.

SmackDown! vs. RAW Rocks!

WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW is the lastest of the series. it begins with looking back at past games, from SmackDown! to SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain. It features a somewhat good season mode, because of the title, they are beating the hell out of each other, in the later stages you're going to have feuds with Vince, run-ins with RAW Superstars or vice-versa (SD! Superstars), and in the end, you will unified the titles, hhhhh. weird, maybe. With Legends, Match modes and a whole lot more. SmackDown! vs. Raw maybe the best in the series even like one of the songs from the game, on your "Last Night On Earth".

i like this game the graphic's are improved and i've been long waiting for wrestler voice-in's which they added but they downgraded the season mode the season mode stinks

DO NOT PAY $50 FOR IT

This game is ok but there is no way u should pay $50. Should be more in the $30 range but anyway. this game is way too short. in story mode there basically 3 paths you can take. the girl road, championship road or the mr. macman(you know wht i mean) special "enforcer" road. unfortunately for me i was able to see all those modes in about a week. after your done with story all you can basicly do is play it with some friends or go online.(HALO2!!?) they did nothing but emphasis voice- over and challenge mode. voice-over is nothing but the superstar reading off a script and challenge mode just gets boring real fast. there is a few pluses in this game. you are having fun during story mode(when you don't already know what is gonna happen) and playing as andre the giant,bret hart,masked kane, etc. is great fun. but once you do all that there is basically nothing left. "The Most Detailed and Comprehensive Create-A-Superstar Ever!" yeah there is about a million possibilites with it but it is just to freakin' hard to make someone tht even looks like the slightest bit like you! maybe its just me but it took me one and a half hours just to make a guy with some jeans on!!! i know they want everything bigger and longer my god thats just way to long. i say rent it or wait awhile til it gets to be a greatest hit or in the bargin bin to get it. Its at least worth a short thrill but not for 50 bucks

Great but with a few flaws that can be really irritating

first of all before i say anything bad, this is a great followup to a near perfect Here Comes The Pain. the graphics are stellar and the variety is great. Blood is also included and thats a good idea because after 20 chair shots and no blood doesnt make much sense. Now some of the annoying things first of all where is Spike dudly, lita, La resistance, orlando jordan, the bashams, and there are others missing also. Thats alot of big names Lita, as much as i hate them la resistance, so thats something thats needed fixed. The superstar voice over straight sucks. season mode is no offese to anyone who liked it crap. another very wierd thing is that end of match celebrations are gone in most types. In fact only elimination chamber bra & panties and hell in a cell have victory celebrations. its wierd to here your music playing and nothing happening. Even with those flaws the gameplay is just like here comes the pain, close to perfect. I definatly reccomend this for any wresling fan and for someone who wants a good fighting game.
