Burnout 3: Takedown - PS2

Crash and Burn!

I love this game. First the positives. Takedowns are very satisfying, especially photo album worthy ones. Sense of speed is there and boost blurs everything. Crash mode is my favorite part. Nothign but drive fast, and cause MASSIVE collateral damage. After that you have crashbreaker to blow up your car into a smoltering wreck and cause more damage. Only negative for this game and it is minor to me. Collecting photo album worthy crashes during races and Road Rage events can be a trial and error thing as well as some of the trophy crashes are difficult to pull off. Overall great game.

Burnout 3 Takedown

One of the best racing games EVER! Doing crashes and Road Rages are my favorite, and bragging when I beet one of my friends in a race in Multiplayer. I wish they had better grapics thoe, and it would be cool if they had somekind of explore mode for when you're not in a race. It's really stupid that when you're in crash mode and make a crash, cars don't even do anything they just keep on driving right into the crash at full speed, so if it where more realistic with the crashes, I would have rated it a 5.

Burnout's unquestionable high point

Some people were disappointed with Dominator not having Crash mode and Revenge being like a "futuristic" looking, but for those who didn't get a chance to play a modern kind of racer than Takedowns your choice. Takedown was one of the most original Burnout game available. It has nice graphics with a smooth fast an furious feel while speeding down mountain trails, Asian streets and, European scenery all while carnage takes place on screen. The controls are slick and and tight. Since the game is pressure sensitive, you'll have to press the buttons harder than usual. Its no big deal but could turn off soft pressers. The crash physics are pretty but are not up to date with revenges and its always satisfying to see your car explode when you fall of a cliff. The wide selection of cars can keep you on the controller for hours trying to unlock them all. Now the Crash mode, it features 100 junctions to test your skills on how you'll create a perfect crash scene. Some range from easy to pull of to "damn i can't do this!". There are other modes like Time Attack and Road Rage where you have to keep taking down rivals before your car gets totaled, and of coarse Race which is everyones favorite. Takedown is the best Burnout out now and it will always be a great game.

Burnout 3

This game is awsome. And is one of the best looking games on the PS2. It is a long game and it gets pretty boring after a while. But when you complete the story mode you unlock some cool and fasr cars. But the most impressive part is the visuals. Cant get enough of those graphics. But overall its a must buy.

GO GO GO

Ok the best racing game on the planet yes better than Gran Turismo I hate hardcore driving simulators they can go and die! The driving is solid and very controllable. The learning curbe is not too fast or slow for battle scared veterens or n00bs of the series. The car selection is the best the series has the offer and there is alot of tracks! The crashes are well set up and series favorites like Road Rage are here too! The overall game is great and dodging oncoming traffic has never been so much fun! Perfect Score this game finishes 1st in my book!
