Bad Capcom

Why Capcom why? Outbreak 1 & 2 both stink like sweaty old shoes. This so called team based game might not be bad if the AI were smarter than a bag of rocks. They wander around, don't follow orders and are basically walking zombie food. They throw so many zombies at you but don't give you enough ammo to do the job. You can pick up pipes and brooms but they break after awhile. Since when is getting attacked in the menu screen okay? You can finally move when shooting but it's so slow. Team up with your buddies because single player doesn't cut it. I hope this is the end of the Outbreak games.

Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 [ PS2 ]

With Resident Evil fans already lined up for another dose of hardcore action and horror due to the recent screenshots of RE5, It was time to go back and look at some of the RE titles in which gamers could keep their adrenaline pumping while taking in the sweet feeling of triumph after surviving another one of Umbrella's incidents. The key term here was to survive which makes having a friend or two a perfect way for watching your back while trying to break down a door. OK...... Now for the ratings! Graphics 5.0 With bigger levels, and awsome (if not creepy at times) CG movies, File #2 definately deserves some attention. From simple things such as trash and broken glass strewn about on the sidewalks along with blood stains and dead bodies partly devowered. Lots of detail was put into making the new levels in this game. Thats a good key figure if you wanna creep people out. The areas do give you that feeling of dispair and hopelessness. Sound 4.5 From just walking around to firing off multiple rounds from your hand gun. The overall mix of the enviroment and sounds from the monsters sets the mood for the game but some times your characters sounds can be annoying when you constantly ask for help or listen in on the calls of others. Control 4.5 Actually the controls weren't that bad this time around. The first time you play File #2 you have a tutorial level you can go through to get accustomed to the new changes in the game. One I'm proud capcom added was the run and gun ability. Finally you can take the fight to a monster with maximum supression from a machinegun while walking slowly away or towards it. Some times though its hard to remember controls when your under pressure but still not bad! FUNFACTOR 5.0 Capcom has once again delivered us another one of their great titles and has given us our moneys worth if not a little extra.
