Sooooo Much Fun
I love this franchise. The Fight Night games are fantastic on all platforms. The controls are so organic feeling and the graphics are tight. Nothing is better than playing with a pal, but the single player mode is just as challenging, with tons of goals and objectives to accomplish.

Brought back Knockout Kings
When ESPN took over...boy did they take over! The knockouts were cool and in slow mo. The controls were alittle hard for a n00b and many people changed the analogs to the buttons for punching. Career Mode was interesting and kept you playing for hours and hours. Announcers did a good job on there speaking because when you got hit, they made sure you knew it and felt it. The multiplayer is something you will enjoy because its new school vs old school and you get variety of boxers to fight with. Fight Night 2004 will keep you playing into you get blisters on your fingers... - Jake The Snake

The standard for all Boxing games
Fight Night 2004 is the new standard for boxing games. This game could revolutionize how all future boxing games are created. EA gave their series Knockout Kings a complete overhaul and manifested one of the greatest sports games of all time. It includes a new method of boxing via throwing punches and blocking with the analog sticks. This is a great new concept, but can be hard to master. The controls can be switched so that punches and blocks are preformed with buttons. Button mashing, however, will get you nowhere but laid out on the canvas. In no time you will be bobbin' n weavin' like Muhammad Ali. He is one of the big name fighters featured including Ray Lewis, Felix Trinidad, and many more top contenders. The between fight training helps players improve both the skills of their boxer as well as their own skills. The graphics are astounding, with real-time evidence of the match on each boxers face. The fighting venues have been wonderfully rendered, causing a player to occasionally take his eye off the fight to enjoy the scenery. The A.I. is challenging with each fighter having his own style that you must crack before you can beat him and rise to the top of the ranks and become Champion of the World in 6 different weight classes. The ending of a boxer's career once he becomes Champion and defends his title could have been made more spectacular though. EA has added another great title to its arsenal. Fight Night 2004 is the best boxing game since Punch-Out. As Mike Tyson would say, "This is a great addition to a Magna-Ferocious series." ~Kevin Nuest

Fight Night 2004
The only bad thing about it is the online play because it never stops lagging. Other than that...genius. I can't wait for Fight Night 2005.

About time!
Well, All I can really say about this game is it can't get much better for a boxing game than this. The career mode is the best I have ever seen, and the boxers aren't too over the top. I love the way you can start from the bottom, and pound your way to the top with an A.I. that doesn't KO your ass in the second round if you start off too well. Lots of options on create your own boxer, and it has most of the big name boxers you could want. (Really like the fact that "The Roc" is in it) Even if someone can't figure out the new controls, you can easily change it back to the button mashing style most are accustomed to. The graphics are top notch, and the way boxers move and take punishment are also very realistic. Maybe the best thing about this game is that when the computer tries to move in for the kill, it doesn't simply throw punches faster than any man can possibly throw. Knockout Kings 2002 was like getting hit by an A.I. machine gun feature that would kick in once the computer started to realize it was on the verge of winning or losing. All in all, a great game that I will continue to play. Especially, on-line where the game moves up to an entirely new level. I would rather play human competition around the world any day.

Fight Night 2004
With game time in Fight Night 2004, you'll learn to avoid those frequent headbutts to the fists you've been encountering in other boxing games.
