Game Description

Sly 2: Band of Thieves by Sony for the PS2 is an third-person action-advnture game that is the sequel to Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Band of Thieves features new heist gameplay as Sly and his crew work together to plan and pull off a series of big heists with an enhanced move set, including pick-pocketing, vent crawls, rooftop chases, and stealth attacks, and a team of unique playable characters. The game blends several gameplay elements, including stealth, thievery, platform adventure, combat, strategy, and exploration.

Awesome action-adventure game!

This game diffinetly is a keeper. Much like the first Sly Copper game, you start out as Sly, a stealthy raccon with a hundred tricks up his sleve. As you play you begin to do missions that require some more mucsel or intellegence. This is where Murry and Bently come into play. Sly's two best friends. Together nothing can stop them, except an anchient hatred. Clockwerk was suposedly destroyed by Sly a year ago. But he surrvived, in pices sure, but the threat is still real and the parts are out there. Are you up to joining the gang and ending this hatred?

Graphics 5.0 The graphics are still cel but this time round they are for some reason more realistic. Sly is lookin good and bently is the most stylish nerd ive ever seen. Murray has less cowardly attitude this time around Sound 5.0 Good, no, great. As good as the first ones sound. Control 5.0 Sly 2 has a certain feel that other platformers dont have. Im not exactly sure what. Oh wait yes I do. Its running around on a tiny rope. Sneaking up behind a guard and taking his keys while your at it etc. The controls are as simple to learn as the first one. Fun factor 5.0 OMG this game is Sly cooper and a half. A must must must must must must play.

Steal this Game! (Well don't steal it, it's worth the money)

The first Sly Cooper game held its own as a stand-alone title from an up and coming company. It was solid but it left a little to be desired in the play time category. Enter "Sly 2: Band of Thieves." Not only does this game capitalize on the great nuances of the first game, but it also surpasses them in every way. There are scenes reminiscent of overhead airplane shooters, chases, sneak attacks, etc. You name it, this game has got it. It also lets you take control of Bentley and Murray, the supporting cast from the first game. Though it may seem gimmicky in the inital viewing, the Band of Theives actually make the story of the game flow more smoothly than if it was just Sly alone. Plus the voice acting and music are spot on and help set the mood for a quirky, pseudo film noir. Everything about this game screams, "Buy me! Buy me!" and if you like variety in your games, you should listen.
