Fun for all, yet better online

While being relatively a graphical rehash of the last Hot Shots Golf, it still retains a fun to it that is simple, yet satisfying. The real draw to spend 40 bucks on a game you can get for 20 most places, besides some hidden new characters (Jak and caddy Daxter, Ratchet and caddy Clank, etc) is the online play. This is where the game shines. Go into a lobby, join a game, all very easy. From that point on, you have a timed amount for every hole and you must complete the hole before time runs out, otherwise you are kicked out of the tournament. You can write small messages on the leaderboard, which also will scroll accomplishments (long drive yardage, chip-in shots, and the like). If you're buying this as a stand-alone game and have HSG 3, you might be disappointed, since its really close to that one, down to the golf courses you start with being the ones you had in the last one. But if you have the adapter, its well worth the fun of playing other duffers online. Online--5.0 Offline--4.0 Total package--4.5
