Is this even Fallout?

Once again I used to own this game. I will tell you all a secret **I bought this game for $30**. ssshhh dont tell anyone else though. Im partly ashamed I did. I only bothered because its a Fallout game and Im kind of a Fallout fanboy. It was a Fallout game so I had to have it. I will try to find some positives about this game, I will try. The story is serviceable at best and not any thing like the real Fallout games on pc. I doubt this game can even be considered canon. The game controls are ok, no real problems. They work alot like Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance controls. Matter of fact its almost like the same game control wise. There is some minor platforming elements to the game that involve some jumping. FBOS story is no where near as good as the Fallout games on PC. There is some humor in the game but its pretty dumb. The game looks ok. Not as good as Baldurs gate dark alliance. Its not the worst looking game but its not that good. The textures look pretty muddy and theres no detail to much in the game. The puddles of radioactive waste look nice though. If you have to have a fallout game on your ps2 or xbox then I guess you can pick this game up. Its pretty expensive for used game that wasnt that good and its 4-5 yrs old. It is an action RPG so if you need more ps2 action RPGs this is also one of the few on the system. Dont worry about playing this for the upcoming Fallout 3, FBOS didnt have any thing I knew from the other games I doubt its canon so you wont miss much story wise.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - PS2

Great Game, Used Ending

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was a great game in a sense that you could choose 3 base characters and fight your way through rad scorpions, raiders, etc. with an array of weapons and armour. In comparison with other Fallout games, it was the best in the fighting part, but things that made it good were left out. Like choosing your skills and percent upgrades, and a larger array of weapons. The story was short, generally you can beat the game in about 8-9 hours. What I really didn't like was the ending. I'm not going to spoil it, but it's remarkably similar to Residnet Evil 2's ending. Too similar actually.
