Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge - PS2

This game is a MASTERPIECE!!!

As a huge fan of the film I long awaited the day that a NBC game would come out, but at the same time I was fearful that whoever picked it up would ruin it. We got a glimpse in Kingdom Hearts which was cool, but it left me wanting. This game, is everything that I could have hoped for and more. It was definately worth the 12 years we waited for it. The game is an actual sequel to the film, which is very very cool. The graphics are GORGEOUS. Not like most-beautiful-girl-you've-ever-seen gorgeous, but... about 300 times that. I'm serious here. You have to see it to believe that it's even a game. It's like playing the film. The soundtrack is also phenomonal. Original Elfman score that during boss battles has lyrics that follow the same tunes as the original NBC beauties, but have been changed to pertain to what's going on in the game at time. Costume changes to Pumpkin King, and Santy Jack, are a nice touch, and all of your favorite characters are back, plus a revamped oogie-boogie that is straight out of resident evil. I cannot stress enough how much everyone on earth needs this game. If you are a fan of the film, then you need like... 7 maybe 8 copies. The ONLY drawback for me is the limited number of combat moves, and Jack saying "SOUL ROBBER!" every time you press triangle. Which is alot. It's a tad annoying, but doesn't detract much from a game that is too good to be played in my filthy bedroom but rather belongs in a museum.
