In both games you are crook whom goes around and spreads complete chaos. In gta3 you play a guy who just escaped police custody and is now in liberty city wanting to take revenge on his ex-girlfriend who working for the mob in vice city you are a man who goes by the name tommy vercetti who just failed to make a deal and his mob boss wants his money back.They both have great aspects one you can feel free to explore the city and spread complete chaos around each city though that get a little boring after an hour or two but still a good thing. If you do get bored there are the RC misiions and vice city has plenty of odd jobs to do and some of them will increase your health. If you get bored of both of those why not start a brawl with another gang. The negatives in gta3 are the only buildings you can enter are ammunition and salvatore's club and it doesn't have much buildings to own like in vice city plus you can't rob places. On the other hand in vice city there are not many gangs to brawl with. Graphics Gta3 doesn't have the most realistic graphics but are not too bad and in vice city in the day time the sun can block your view and sometimes if you use cheat codes you'll be risking your game to freeze.

These games are probably in the top 10 for best games of all time. Though i think Vice City is alot better, GTA3 is still good. They both offer great graphics, Roaming, And a nice story mode. Vice city has more of a story mode, and more Vehicles. GTA3 still has a good story mode, just not as good. All in all, Its way worth it. Hours and hours of gameplay. Alot of fun. Go out and buy it
