Unlimited: SaGa - PS2

What is up with this?

This game is realy dumb. I don't get the story too well. The way you get into fights is wierd too. The only thing I enjoied was when you got to fight. That was the only thing I ok about the game. If you want to buy this game expect alot of reading.

New skool meets old skool

First off, forget every other RPG you've played on PS2. This game is in a class all by itself, and can't be compared to any other RPG presently on PS2. The old skool 2D characters meets new skool shading and animation looks beautiful. For me, I get that great feeling I used to get during the good ol' SNES RPG days when I play this game. The game plays more like a board game, whereas you move your character's icon space-by-space across a map (finding treasures, traps, and enemies along the way) until you accomplished your goal. The battles are great, although the learning curve is very high. Once you've begun to master the battle system, and can start to actually use some strategy with your combos, the game is very fun and rewarding.

A series known for innovation has now gone so far into left field that it's climbed over the fence and taken up residence in the upper bleachers.
