I had fun with it, got addicted. Bad game overall, but ehhh not too bad. I liked throwing objects at my ally :)

Ok let me start off by saying I am a huge Batman fan. So if this game was anywhere near decent I could probably over look some flaw's. But this game was so bad that it actually caused me physical pain while I was in the process of playing. It make's me want to go to the game Developer's and ask for a refund of the hour of my life I spent playing this waist of time. So with that said, i will get down to some actuall fact's about the game. The grafix are the only upside to this game with the cell shading fitting perfectly to make the game look just like/if not more refined in detail than Batman:the animated series. That's about where the good end's. The game is a button mashing walk forward fight a few guy's, move ahead straight path, mabee turn when the arrow tell's you to. Kind of like a modern day Street's of Rage(GEN) just gone whorribly wrong. The action's are overly repetative and overly simple. Sound efect's replay more than an Instant message tone on AIM. To the point you want to press mute. The control's are simple. And simple to a fault, not simple in a good way. It's a button masher with no thought put into it. Same punch, punch, kick combo's, ect, ect. Get's real old once you realize what is going on toward the second level. The story line though a good idea, does not grab you at all. Some guy with some evil plot to take over Gotham City with no real thought put into it at all. I mean there might be some more development but the game is so bad i didn't even bother finishing it. So I didn't get that far. The game is so simple, as in just walk forward and follow arrow's. And the fighting has no real challenge either every villian become's easy to take out once you master the one button combo move's. The sound, well the sound is alright. But then it start's to repeat so many time's that it dosent matter how good it sound's. All and all I wouldn't suggest this game to anyone at all. The only way I could say this game is worth buying is if you got a kid in your household between the age's of 5-10 that's into Batman. If that aint the case stay far far far away from this game. This game is compairable to E.T. for the (Atari) and dosent warrent the 2 dollar price tag that is probably on it today.
