Game Description
Spawn: Armageddon by Namco for PS2 is a mission-based action-adventure game that thrusts players into the role of anti-hero, Spawn. Set against the backdrop of a dark, near-future New York City environment, Spawn is caught in the battle of Good vs. Evil. Maneuver through various interactive and destructible environments which include 25 missions with over 60 sublevels, as Spawn struggles to break free of the controlling forces of Heaven and Hell. Based on the first 99 comic books in the Spawn series, Armageddon features all of Spawn's signature abilities including his vast arsenal of weapons, Hell Powers, superhuman strength, and his living, symbiotic costume.

GO TO HELL & DON'T COME BACK
When I heard that Spawn was coming to the PS2, I went ballistic. I love the comics, movies, & animated series. As I started playing, I was pretty amazed at how much ass Spawn can whoop. But shortly thereafter, I got really bored. The graphics are drab, the controls are a tad loose, & the story is........just dumb. You get fight the Violater to a giant gorilla to an 'undead' tank to demon trees. The weapons are cool & so are your chains. But maybe this game should went thru a few more notions, because it's gone to hell.

send this game to hell
the first few levels are fun. fighting the Violator was a bit tough, but he's my b****. than the game went on and on and on. i returned this game a day early to blockbuster and i don't regret it. the graphics are nothing like the comic, though i love the guns, hell powers, and using Spawn's chains and axe. even though i didn't beat it, i wish i just used the codes and play the last level. i got really tired fighting those stupid imps and flying imps. a few levels were bloody and disturbing (like killing 'half- bodies of cops), but it's not scary or anything. if your a fan of Spawn, you might get some fun out of this game, but only for some time.
