Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

A wonderful PS2 puzzle game.

This is an amazing playstation 2 title. it has great puzzles and just enough action, but it was unfortunately slightly repetitive and the difficulty was uneven. when i went thru the game the first time i breezed thru some fights and the secound time thru some of those "easy" fights were increasingly hard. The puzzles on the other hand, were difficult, but in a fun way. and another fun thing about the game was the traps it contained, and how they helped make the puzzles that much more fun.

I Really dont have a lot to say about this game, except that it is exceptional for a person looking for a fun puzzle game on the PS2

An excellent game, the Prince of Persia The Sands of Time brings puzzles, combat, and time-rewinding action to consoles with a very atmospheric and ancient feel to it. This game is genre-defining, with nice detailed environments and characters, and a soundtrack that matches the era that it is in. The game feels very free, as the combat system is very loose, yet satisfying. The puzzles in the game are very smart and fun, and the story is very captivating, and well done. The one feature of the game that truly sets it apart from any other, and brings its uniqueness is the ability to reverse time, and replay sequences in the game. This feature is very helpful, and by the end of the game, you will depend on it so much, that you'll wonder how you could play other games without it. The feature works great both in combat, and exploring; for instance, the frustration is eliminated when you miss a jump, and unexpected traps can be avoided the second time around. The game's uniqueness is what makes it stand out to most other games. Bring up the issue of controlling time to anyone, and they usually make a reference to this game. The environments are vivid, the atmosphere is mysterious, and artistic. The soundtrack fits perfectly with the game overall, and even the song for the end credits is great. The folks at Ubisoft have just given themselves a new company defining game-one that should be experienced by all.

Awesome game. Some of the best gameplay ever. A little repetitive, but I never found myself getting tired of it.

Great Experience

Prince of Persia Sands of time was amazing and had lots of new things i have never seen before.Running on walls turning time back was very fun.It wasn't just a hack and slash game it had puzzles and killing but it not just one button killing you can flip over the enemy and slash him in half for one example.The graphics were very good for the time some of the best i've seen of a PS2.Only one problem with this game i wish there were more boss battles but that problem doens't bother this great experience at all.If you are looking for something to pass the time pick this game up cheap.Very fun.

im sorry to say this but ive played the game and sadly.....it stunk. i fully back ubisoft and many of the games they've made but this one should be put to rest. it has slow story and gameplay, glitches, and wierd zombie teleporters? the characters are pretty good but seriously why would u want to run on walls when you can somersault over them? lastly camera views werent always the greatest during boss battles. thumbs down......
