Freedom Fighters - PS2

FIGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM

I love this game. I use to freakin' love this gaem, but now I just love it. The command controls are easy, the story is good, & the action is crazy. It kind of stinks not to have a target reticle or a reload button (it does it automatically), but that's OK. I also like how each time you beat a level, it affects the other one. For example, if you take out a helipad in one level, there will not be a chopper in the next, & so on & so forth. Lookin' to kick the shite out of some Soviets? Here's the game for you.

Great

The only bad thing I would have to say about this game are the textures. Everything else is great. The games controls are nearly perfect. The action will draw you in and not let you leave. Recruiting and commanding men is a wonderful aspect. BUY IT NOW!

Freedom Fighters - PS2

a good "rent-it" game.

i had recently played freedom fighters for the PS2, and i have to say, for WHAT the game is, its pretty tight. The game is a 3rdPS with great, crisp graphics, solid game action, great voice acting and ingenious level designs. Not to mention, sound quality is through the roof with appropriate scenario music, like foreshadowing before something serious or action oriented or startling is going to occur. but, i did find a wee problem with the controls: they're down right hard and awkward. as soon as you have those down, though, the gameplay is great! as far as multiplayer is concerned, it only gets better with more people. 2 player multiplayer is a little bland, but you can have up to 4 on the PS2, provided you have a multitap. As far as controls go, i would have gone for a more Time Splitters 2 feel, but with all the little things you have to do/use/store, believe it or not, its logical. So, its a good game, controls need work and multiplayer could be better, but its definitley a game to at least take a look at, such as i did, by renting it. IF you like it, take my word and get it.

Time killer

Any game where you're defending your country can't be all bad. It's not the prettiest game in town though. Colors and textures are bland and you'll see some seams showing. It's kinda cool that you can recruit men along the way to help you out. The only thing is you and your men can get lost. I hate having to go find a missing man only to find out he got ran over by a truck. One nice thing is if you have an extra health pack you can revive him. Controls do stink and you have to hold down the left joystick to aim with crosshairs. EA's greatest sin is not having a save anywhere feature. Some levels take time and you can be feet away from your goal and then get killed. You guessed it, start over. It's a fun and challenging game and will help kill some time.

WHHHOOOOO!

i luv this game. this is the one of the best war game on PS2. everything about this game is perfecto. you can have a team with you (AWESOME!) they should make a sequel of the Soviets returning, bigger and badder. that would be cool. i can never be tired of this game. you shouldn't either. Uncle Sam Wants You (trust me).
