What's the what

A must have for fans of the show. The fun of this game comes not from its plot or innovative style, but the nolstalgia of romping through your favorite places from the show, which are beautifully and accurately displayed to you. The game isn't bad, and you get an incredibly satisfing feeling after dusting a vamp, but gamers not who don't understand the buffy universe should think three times before buying

To suck or not to suck

Buffy the Vampire Slayer returns for another installment, however this one could have been alot better. The graphics in this game are ok, the characters in the game do resemble their real-life counterparts. At the same time, there's nothing spectacular either. The camera can be a pain, there are instances where you can see who is attack and others where you can't see Buffy, or whatever character you are playing with at the time, at all. The Muliplayer part is ok, but if you don't play it you won't miss out on much. You unlock characters and areas to fight in by unlocking secerets in the game, which is basically finding stashes of health and weapons. Puzzles and objectives are a pain in the neck. They are more like guess work then they are anything else. Overall this game is worth at least a rental. Fans of the series would want to wait for a pricedrop. For the rest of us, rental status at its mediocre best.

Lots of Double Teaming Still fun to play

The enemy AI is very simple to beat when you have a opponet one on one but when there are more than one enmey on screen your nightmare is about to begin becuase they love to hit you from behind and the sides where you cannot block the incoming attacks. Also the inventory system sometimes feels like its helping the badguys out since you only have acess to it during gameplay that means when they gang up on you its tough to find the item that will turn the tide in your favor. It does succed where its Xbox predecssor does that is making you feel that you have stepped into a tv episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
