Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando - PS2

Another great game by Insomniac.

Ratchet and Clank are back, and this time, Drekk isn't here to interfer. They are summoned to Mr. Abocrombie Fizzwidget, who is the owner of Megacorp. Your mission is to find and return Megacorp's newest invention, the Protopet. But it is stolen by a thief(who later turns out to be Angela Cross, another Lombax). You go all over the galaxy trying to find her, until she reveals herself on a desert planet. It is then that you learn that the Protopet will destroy the galaxy. So, your new job is trying to get the Protopet back from Megacorp. Easier said than done. You finally meet Mr. Fizzwidget, who turns out to be Captain Quark in disguise. He intends to save the galaxy from the Protopet, but ends up creating a giant, mutated one. After you destroy it, It throws back up Quark, and the Helix-a-morph. Angela uses the Helix-a-morph to restore the protopet to it's normal size. Then you find out that the Mr. Fizzwidget was locked up. This game is another extreamly good game made bu Insomniac. If you have never played it, then you don't know what you're missing.

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando - PS2

Lets go commando!!

You might remember hearing really good things about this game when it came out. Well, their true. Ratchet and Clank return with a completely new game. Basically, the developers took the first game (which was alright) and expanded it. This sequel has more weapons, more (and better) mini-games, weapon upgrades, and better graphics and audio. You can also play as Clank which is nice because Ratchet needs a lunch break every now and then. The game is also very challenging, but not overwhelming. The game has an RPG sort of feel to it because your always leveling up your health, weapons, getting new armor, gadgets, ship upgrades, and so on. Gameplay is a nice mix of shooting, puzzles, and basic platforming. The controls are very good, so shooting down robots while jumping like an acrobat isnt a pain in the ass. My only complaint is that sometimes the game really is too difficult. Bottom line, if you haven't played this game already I strongly suggest you do.

BLOW MORE $HIT UP

The dynamic duo are on a new mission now...........to kick some major ass! Even more action, weapons, upgrades, & hilarious dialogue. The sequel does everything better, but still keeps that special 'Ratchet & Clank' flavor. You get to play as Clank a bit more, & it sure is fun. Go commando.......I know I did.

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando - PS2

This is a Sequel

This is a must for all ps2 system owners. This game adds on to the first by a lot. THe story gets tightened up with it starting with Ratchet being transported to another galaxy. The new leveling-up weapons system lets you have the kind of weapons that you want. The only problem that I found was that the collection of bolts was really hard and it took me way longer then I would have liked. If "kicking @$$ one planet at a time" this your thing, then get this game now.

WOOOHOOO

This game rocks. Trust me. Buy it now. It is the best game in the world. So buy it. Otherwise, you'll be an FPS idiot and play Halo 24/7 and never learn about good gameplay.
