I love most all sports games, and i have to tell you this game was not very good at all. It was impossible to hit any pitch over 90 mph lol, this game had some neat features like the ability to play a sandlot game with position players that could pitch and a card system like the Madden franchise, all that is great but i wanted a baseball game that stayed true to the sport and this game had all the looks, but lacked in everything else, i have to say "Never Buy This Game!"

Last year's game was so much better. Sure, I like the new, EXTENSIVE franchise stuff, but it seems like they didn't try so hard elsewhere. The graphics and batting interface are worse than last year. I'm not sure how to adequately describe my disappointment in Acclaim. I just hope they fix the gameplay and leave the franchise stuff alone. And maybe make transitions between screens faster... it felt incredibly clunky to me. If you like Arcade baseball, get MVP. If you like simulation baseball, get High Heat.

All-Star Baseball?s realistically slow pacing and in-depth cursor interface have always appealed to a loyal segment of baseball gamers, and they?ll return in droves for this season?s slew of upgrades.
