NHL 2K3 - PS2

Better than NHL 2003

Sega Sports is closing in on EA big time. EA's NHL was the best hockey series until NHL 2k3 was released. 2K3 has much better graphics and more realistic gameplay. You don't score everytime you fire a slapshot from the point in this game. You actually can score by shooting the puck and having one of your teamates in front of the net to deflect it. The only thing that NHL 2003 has better is the announcers. Yeah the announcers are very annoying in 2003 but at least they don't sound like robots like in 2K3. The fan animation in 2k3 could also be imporved. But overall, NHL 2k3 is a much more enjoyable hockey game then NHL 2003
