Great NHL game

I loves how you could pick any position you want like the left wing defence and even the goalie(that was the best). The graphics were kind of bad but the controls were pretty good.It had a good updated roster with good profiles on the players.A fun game you can pick up cheap.

After waiting for this game for months, I was very disapointed.

After coming home from the video rental store and turning on my PS2, I huredly put this game in expecting another great game from EA. What I got was a game that is horrible to control and not that different from last year. I must say that this game does have excellent graphics, but this is all this game has going for it. The new altimate deke feature which EA was so excited about sucked. The framerate for these dekes looked like they forgot to add in frames. This makes the deke look "choppy." I also found the controls in general difficult. Bottomline, do yourself a favor and rent this one first. You'll thank me.

And it was the first time I will not own a NHL game since 1997. It went back to the store... sorry, the game sucked... and I've always been into the NHL series.
