Fireblade - PS2

Decent, but not that great...

I think flying around in a helicopter with no real exciting missions for an hour is less than exciting. the graphics are smooth somtimes and choppy at others, the controls need some work, and the sounds get repetative. The highlite of this game is turning invisible and snipering the soldiers limbs off. But, even that gets boring. The best way to play this would be on the PS Underground demo disc. Otherwise, stay away from it.

Gamelords fireblade review

I have to completely disagree with Gamepro's review. While there are problems with the game, they are not as bad as reviewed. The graphics could be better, but are not bad. They are perfectly enjoyable and detailed. Hell, sometimes you have to pay attention to what kind of backpack a soldier is wearing! I think that's detail.. and the music? What's wrong with the music? I was too busy actually PLAYING THE GAME to be able to whine about the music. And I would really like to know what is awkward about the controls. NOTHING!! I don't think they could make it more straightforward. Anyway, the game is quite enjoyable if you just like blowing stuff up. I work in a game store, and it was been quite popular so far.
