The Mark of Kri - PS2

Kri Marks the spot!

A good underground game is hard to find. Since media exposure is at a minimum. But if you this one, pick it up. This game puts you in the furry shoes of Rau, a barbaric looking mercenary out helping portly priests to get their holy ground back. But he eventually gets caught up in the usual evil spell plot. This games core is it's gameplay and level design. It's simple to fend off multiple opponents at once, and the huge and open environments, although linear, feel non-linear. The camera can leave enemies that are behind you unseen, making a few precise attacks not so precise. Stealth missions are forgiving, and kept to a minimum. Overall, even though it doesn't sport the spiffiest graphics in the bin, this game is a must for those who love a good adventure.

ummm...I dont know

I can't tell i this game is good or bad...maybe i should jus say average then I mean there's nothin that makes this game really shine on any part jus the usual you see in all games cept the graphics and controlls...but they're nothin so special. You gotta play with stealth ya know. So I'd say u wanna do that then pick up metal gear instead same price. This one gets borin real quick

lead foot

This game had great potential. The graphics are nothing special but do the job. The main character moves like he has lead feet and makes fighting and moving around a chore. Stealth is being over used and really doesn't belong in a hack and slash game. Some parts of the game can be a real pain and you'll find yourself playing it over and over until you get it right. The spirit guide is cool and is a novel approach to game play. I would like to see another game in the series and see them correct some of the problems. It was fun but got a little boring after awhile.

Heads a flying

Well I've played alot of bloody games. Most were just fun because you could pretend it was your boss whos head you were tearing off. But most lacked the visuals or a cool story line. But that has all changed with the arrival of The Mark Kri. Man when I popped this game in for the first time the first thing I noticed was the very cool quote at the begining of the game. Then the animation came in and man was I blown away. Now I'm a grown man but I still like cartoons and Disney I think has some great animation some times but I can't stand all that sappy crap that goes along with it. Well Kri is like Disney's evil twin brother that doesn't get talked about unless in whispers. Grachics wise this game is like playing a cartoon. Then comes the very cool story. Can't beat barbarian fighting evil storys. The game play is nice and smooth with no hard to do moves that you spend days trying to do only to put the game down and never pick it up again because off frustration. But the coolest thing about this game is the hella bloody ways you kill people. Breaking necks, cutting off heads, chopping people in half and then slaming them with an axe in the back just to make sure they know they're dead. One of my favorite kills is the stealth move where you grab a guy on the other side of the wall and slam his head into the wall till his head isn't nothing but a red spot on the wall. I've beat this game twice and I'm still loving it. On a scale of 1 to 10 this game gets a 9.
