Primal - PS2

why can't they make more games like this?

When I first seen this game I know it was bad news, but one of my friends said "lets try this game" so I did. Before I knew it I beat the game and that was it. The music was Awesome, 16 VOLT rocks! anybody who has'it played it should!!

Beauty and the beast

Wow, where did this game come from? It came out of nowhere and went nowhere. The most beautiful graphics on the PS2 that even rival most Xbox games. It also has top notch voice acting, great sound and interesting story line. Some nice cut scenes help draw you into the game too. You play the sexy she-demon looking for her rockstar boyfriend. You even get to switch characters and play as a little winged demon. The controls are a little awkward but you get used to them with a little practice. Some people may get bored with the game but I loved every second. Pick up this gem before it's gone.

Great Game

Primal was a great game, doesn't have much in replay value. but fun none the less, Voice acting was good, music was good, story line was kind or weak. Graphics were great. down side to this game was no replay value, so there's no need to come back to it once it's done. but overall I enjoyed it immensly. At least worth a rental.

Greatness in the making?

Primal is a great game, in the making that is. In the future I see a game from the Primal series in every household, that is assuming Sony can clean up and improve this Gothic act. This is one of those great idea- bad execution kind of games. Your boyfriend is snatched by some hideous figure and you are put in Intensive Care. A stone statue takes you for an out of body experience to restore the balance between good and evil. If I had a nickle for every time that happened. What hurts this game is how slow the game plays out, and how slow it plays. When you "run" it seems more like a steady jog. You fight with the L1 buttons and there is no inventory so you can tell what you have. The character designs are nice, but nothing to write home about but the levels are gorgeous. Some kind of Punkish-Heavy metal music pops up during battles, but is more annoying than anything becaue of how quickly it goes away. Like I said, this game needs some Miracle Grow, and if it does, you have your next Jill Valentine or Lara Croft. Rental Status first, then buy if you like.
