Final Fantasy XI - PS2

FFXI deliver's

This game was actually my first ever real MMORPG, the MMORPG never really appealed to me all that much but be a Final Fantasy title I gave it a shot. And I was extreamly suprised at how much I actually enjoyed this game. The grafix in this game look very good. It's nothing that will knock your sock's off but there is so much detail to the entire world that every once and a while you stop and take a look. Like the wave's breaking on the shore from the ocean. The audio is done extreamly well in this game, from the OST for each imparticular zone. To just the reglar sound FX it's done extreamly well. The control's are bassic and easy to master, it definatly helps to have a PS2 Keyboard to play this game. It does take a little while to get every single function of the game down. But you are off and playing in no time flat. The storyline in this game is not a major factor in the game play beside's the fact that it control's how you rank up in the city's eye's. And it does add explaination to certain thing's in Vana 'del world. The game has a tremendous amount of value to just keep coming back as they frequently update the game. The only real downfall of the game is that beast's become repetitve somtime's they are just a different collor with a different name. But not to the point where it take's away from the game. Every zone has it's own distinct beast as well. Also it's very time consuming, but you are having fun at the same time. And you know the saying time fly's while your having fun, so paying attention to the amount of time is key while playing. You gotta live your real life as well. Overall this game is a great buy for anyone into FF, or just MMORPG's in general.

FFXI rules above all MMORPG's (in my opinion so far)

The MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI, is a very interesting game with a wide variety of missions, quests, and any other goals to accomplish. At the beginning of the game (after registration), your character is introduced to the world of Vana Diel in FFXI in whatever home nation was selected (from the three choices that were available). These nations are the Kingdom of San d'Oria, the Republic of Bastok, and the Federation of Windhurst. San d'Oria consists of mostly Elvaan, Bastok consists of Galkas and Humes (humans), and Windhurst consists mostly of Mithras and Tarutarus. The good thing about FFXI is that you can change jobs throughout the game, in which some jobs are already available and others can be unlocked through doing specific quests only at level 30 and above (where available in whatever job). Overall, Final Fantasy XI has no specific one goal to do, but many to do, whether you choose the path of a warrior or a summoner or any other job, both unlocked and waiting to otherwise be. Each job has a variety of abilities and FFXI has a variety of all kinds of people to meet and areas to go, all wonderful in some way (even if many people are stuck up snobs and showoffs). However, not all people are that mean and are just trying to help you along your way in FFXI. You can meet many friends, or you can make enemies. One thing is to be remembered in FFXI, you are not alone and can't do anything you want the way you want it, so treat others and respect gameplay the way you would like to be treated and respected. In conclusion, FFXI is a very good MMORPG that has many possibilities and is constantly changing due to updates and the people playing it, but there is always fun to be had. Naught any more I can say about FFXI.
