Summary
Game Description
Vampire Night by Namco for PS2 is a conversion of the arcade first-person shoot-em-up and a collaborative effort from the people who brought you the House of the Dead series. Playing one of two fearless vampire hunters -- the hot-headed Michel or cool, calm Albert -- you blast through waves of vampires with your Mediaeval weaponry, saving tormented villagers, wiping out the evil hordes and undertaking special missions as you go, whilst attempting to protect a helpless girl who's been trapped in the madness. Basically, it's House of the Dead meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Vampire Night features an Arcade mode (and improved version of the coin-op) and Special mode, which adds slightly more of an RPG element.

House of the undead!
This is most likely the closest we'll ever get to playing House Of The Dead on the PS2. Why Sega doesn't bring the dead series to PS2 is beyond me. Heck I'll even take the Virtua Cop series. Anyway, this game rocks!! The graphics are top notch and gameplay is good too. Even the mini games are fun to play. Sure it's short but for gun game purists this is a must have. I can't say much about the music because I'm too busy blowing away vamps. Keep em coming!!

House of the Dead Revamped
Its a great game, if you like House of the Dead series. But instead you shoot vampires in place of zombies and other various monsters. I had fun playing through this game at first, but once you beat it, the ending makes it hard to truly enjoy this game. But I would recommend this game for renting.

way way to short of a game. i cleared it after 3 tries.
it has a horrible story. i havent seen a story that bad since damn i dont know when, maybe Mission Impossible 2 or somthing. but they are just not really excitting. "lets go, yeah, lets go" man it is dumb. 1.0 for storyline. 3.5 for graphics, 3.0 for sound cause sound and mouthes dont match. THE GUN CONTROLER IS GREAT, FUN AS HELL. way to short. i cleared it in no time, only 6 levels, and it only took something like a half hour. if you can rent this or find it real cheap, its fun, but im gonna keep it so i can get more GUN games.

I dont know why everyone rates vampire night sorry, because i think it is awesome. I think that anyone who liked house of the dead 2 for dreamcast would love this game. It is short, but you will wont to play this game over and over. This game has better graphics than time crisis 2. The only thing that i like better about time criss 2 was that you could duck and reload. But if you are a shooter fan you must get this game

Vampire Night is the latest GunCon 2 offering from Namco, but does this crypt killer match up to Time Crisis 2?
